CITIZEN PARTICIPATION FORUM JOINED ECAS

Citizen Participation Forum joined ECAS (European Citizen Action Service).

ECAS is based in Brussels. It is an international NGO with members within the whole EU, building on 22-year experience. ECAS provides services to a network of more than 150 European civil society organisations related to the implementation of EU civil rights and civic participation in EU decision-making.

By becoming a member of ECAS, a renowned European network, the Citizen Participation Forum intents to carry out a sustainable cooperation on EU level on joint initiatives. ECAS is working on setting up a thematic working group for influencing EU policies, in which Citizen Participation Forum representatives will be able to follow the initiatives of their international partners as well as the provisional documentation and decisions of the European Commission and the European Parliament.
