
Training of trainers in participatory budgeting was held
In the period 29 February – 1 March in Sofia, representatives of civil society organizations and local authorities had the opportunity to get acquainted with the mechanism for participatory budgeting and the concrete steps to be taken for its successful implementation at local level.
The training for trainers on “Participatory Budgeting” was organized by the Citizen Participation Forum and the leading trainer was Ms. Alisa Aliti – International Expert at the Council of Europe’s Centre of Expertise for Good Governance. In addition to receiving theoretical knowledge, the participants were engaged in numerous practical sessions that they could apply during future trainings on the topic.
