We conducted training for participatory budgeting in Starozagorski mineralni bani
In the period 24-26 April in Starozagorski mineralni bani, we held a training on participatory budgeting for local authorities and representatives of civil society organizations based in South Bulgaria.
Participants had the opportunity to learn about different models of participatory budgeting, as well as digital tools and other resources they can use in the process.
Practices from Bulgaria were shared, and Alisa Aliti, an international expert from the Council of Europe, presented examples from other countries demonstrating successful implementation in different contexts.
After the theoretical sessions, participants put into practice what they learned during a simulation of a participatory budgeting process.
